About the author
Gillian Conoley’s A Little More Red Sun on the Human: New and Selected Poems (Nightboat) won the Northern California Book Award. The recipient of the 2017 Shelley Memorial Award for lifetime achievement from the Poetry Society of America, she is also the translator of Thousand Times Broken (City Lights), a collection of three books by Henri Michaux.; and poet-in-residence and professor of English at Sonoma State University where she edits Volt.
