About the author
Matthias Göritz is a poet and novelist. His novel Der kurze Traum des Jakob Voss (The short dream of Jakob Voss) (Berlin Verlag), received the Hamburger Literaturpreise (Hamburg Literature Prize) and Mara-Cassens-Preis (Mara Cassens Prize). He teaches in the program in comparative literature at Washington University in St. Louis.
