Legendary editor Gordon Lish joins A Public Space Academy this summer for a three-hour Master Class on the art of revision.

An editor at Esquire from 1969–1977, then an editor at Knopf until 1995, Lish is known for editing the work of Barry Hannah, Bette Howland, and Raymond Carver, among others. This master class is designed for writers at various stages in their careers who are looking to refine their sentences and shape their pieces to find, as Lish said to Barry Hannah, "your good stuff."
